The purpose of these terms is to 1) recognize that it
took years to develop the content of this website, 2) allow
educators to benefit from the content while honoring point
1, and 3) keep this site, which is powered by feedback,
going. Knowing that others are using this content is
the best feedback there is!

How many copies can I make?
Many!
You may print and
reproduce materials from www.Teach-and-Learn.org for
personal use (copies to be used only by you) and educational
purposes (for example, for teachers or professors to
use with their individual classes). If you share copied or downloaded materials with other
teachers or community members, please include the website
address and give
appropriate authorship credit, for example, by writing "From
Ayana Kee, www.Teach-and-Learn.org" on the document, so they
know where they can find more.
Can I download a document and change it to make it work
better for my class?
Absolutely!
Can I include content in my coursepack, distribute
content on a CD, upload content to my ongoing (more than one
term) online course, or upload content to my website?
These are examples of reprinting. Please do not
reprint content or publish it, without written
consent from Ayana Kee. However, note that our goal is
to share information with teachers. Thus, we are happy
to give consent within certain limitations, just
contact us.
Can I link to this website?
Absolutely! In order to help teachers find this site, we welcome
links from other websites to www.Teach-and-Learn.org, as
long as it is clear that the link is to this site. I
don't have a banner yet, but I'll make one soon.
Can I use your stuff on my website?
Sure! Please link to the content you want to use,
rather than uploading it to your server. If that's
impractical or impossible, please
contact us and tell us how you want to use it.
Can I use content in something I'm going to sell?
Probably! Please do not use any www.Teach-and-Learn.org content for
commercial purposes, unless you have prior written consent
from Ayana Kee. However, note that our goal is to share
information with teachers. Thus, we are happy to give
consent within certain limitations, just
contact us about your project.
What about other people's stuff?
Links to pages at other sites are labeled and
www.Teach-and-Learn.org is not responsible for the content
or availability of those sites. Some content on this
site is copyrighted by other authors. For reprinting
or commercial use of their work, just
contact us and we'll see if we can help you get in touch
with them.
Plus...
You agree not use the Teach-and-Learn site or server
space in any manner that is unlawful or harmful to
www.Teach-and-Learn.org, its affiliates, service providers, and/or

We do not collect any personally identifiable information
about you such as name, address, phone number, or e-mail
address. However, we do obtain some types of non-personally
identifiable information such as the Internet Service
Provider people use to connect to the Internet, your browser
type, or the type of computer operating system you use. This helps us to
determine what our pages will look like on your browser (in
an attempt to make sure the templates and other images are
viewable and printable for everyone). For example, this
information may tell us that 40% of the people who visit use
a certain type of browser and 15% of the people who visit us
use Windows 95, etc, not what one specific visitor uses.
Your email address will be collected if you chose to
subscribe to our contact list or newsletter. Your email
address will not be purposefully provided to anyone else
(for free or for sale). We will simply use the email address
to send you notification of new information added to
www.Teach-and-Learn.org, to send you the newsletter, or to send you
special bulletins.
In some cases, you may voluntarily provide personal
information in response to a specific request or email
conversation (example, your name as a signature on an
email). This is completely your choice and is not a
requirement in corresponding with us. Again, if you do choose
to share this information, we do not sell or give this
information to anyone. We may publish comments and
questions you send to us. Positive comments may be
published as testimonials. Questions, suggestions, and
other comments that you volunteer may be published.
Will not publish your name or other identifiable information with your comment, question, or
suggestion, unless we have your prior approval.
This site, www.Teach-and-Learn.org, does not use cookies
to gather information
about you.
